For assignment one, please review the “mandatory” WORD template consisting of the introduction of the internal factor evaluation and the external factor evaluation, the SWOT analysis, and the conclusion. Please notice that all level headings will help you with the detailed structure of content needed for this assignment along with the 7th edition APA format. You will remove my directions and add your content and sources.
Points will be deducted for not using this mandatory WORD document. It is the student’s responsibility to make sure that the mandatory WORD document was used and uploaded correctly by the due date.
Although you briefly listed the internal factors and external factors for a previous discussion regarding 5 strengths, 5 weaknesses, 5 opportunities, and 5 threats in your SWOT analysis, you will now delve into these internal and external factors in more detail with narratives, illustrations (tables inserted in the template), and current supporting scholarly articles (past 5 to 7 years of peer reviewed articles). Researching internal factors will help us understand our organizational internal environment in regard to resources and proficiencies while researching external factors will help us understand our organizational external environment., We must maintain and continue to plan a strong organization to reach the future landscape (i.e. vision). In addition you will obtain more detailed information during the ZOOM sessions as I suggest planning your semester by attending these ZOOM sessions.,
You will write in first person and then validate your thoughts with current scholarly articles (past 5 to 7 years of peer reviewed articles)., As a reminder all paragraphs must have at least 5 to 6 academic sentences with at least two current scholarly articles., No books or trade journals can be used only current scholarly articles (past 5 to 7 years) that are labelled academic, peer-reviewed, or refereed journals. All references must align with in-text citations and be complete with all information (i.e., authors, date, title, source) to include the DOI or the URL. This will help faculty retrieve the source to determine if the source meets the requirements of the submission. No generative artificial intelligence will be allowed to include no use of Grammarly or similar platforms that modifies content.
The first section of this assignment requires an opening paragraph for you to explain the need to conduct an internal factor evaluation (IFE) and an external factor evaluation (EFE). You should start by describing these factor evaluations (i.e., IFE, EFE) to your audience and then why the IFE and EFE are important. This paragraph must have at least 5 to 6 academic sentences and at least 2 or more current scholarly articles (past 5 to 7 years of peer reviewed articles).
The next portion of this assignment is for you to explain all 20 factors within the SWOT analysis. For each factor, you will provide a minimum of five sentences explaining why this factor is a strength, weakness, opportunity, or a threat. In addition, you must support each of these factors with at least 2 current scholarly articles. As a result, you will have researched plenty of articles to validate your claims.
This entire assignment one must be at least 6 to 8 full pages of scholarly content, plus mandatory tables that are embedded in the template. All content must be supported to validate your claims with at least 10 current scholarly articles from the past 5 to 7 years. You can use these sources throughout the assignment; however, you might need to find more sources to support all of your content. Never minimize your content and sources as you could miss important information for the assignment requirements.
All paragraphs must have at least five to six academic level sentences with at least two current scholarly articles to synthesize the content. Keep in mind that the Introduction paragraph has a minimum of eight academic sentences and four current scholarly articles needed to validate your claims. Review the meaning for synthesis of research so when researching for one scholarly article to support your claims, locate a second scholarly article, which synthesizes your content.
No books can be used, only current scholarly articles (past 5 to 7 years) that are labelled academic, peer-reviewed, or refereed journals. All references must align with in-text citations and be complete with all information (i.e., authors, date, title, source) to include the DOI or the URL. The exact URL/DOI must be included to retrieve the actual source. By not including the direct URL/DOI, the source will not count towards total sources used.
