Week 2 Discussion – Aim and SMART Objectives

September 2: Initial Post with first draft of the project proposal. Faculty will engage and make recommendations for updating your proposal throughout this week, so begin early.

September 6: Cross post due The Cross post from peers will help to clarify your project plan – incorporate feedback upon approval from faculty.

During the coming weeks the faculty and students will provide feedback to help you develop your doctoral project.

Through a step-by-step process from week-to-week you will revise your final project for submission to the Scientific Review

Committee (SRC) on October 7.

Initial Post: Post your proposed DNP Project Plan Proposal as a reply to this discussion. Title your initial post with your last name, first name, Initial Post and the beginning title of your project.

 

In your initial post include the following information:

 

Project Aim: Identify the project’s overarching aim – include population setting and expected final outcome for the project in this statement.,

 

SMART Objectives: Define 3 specific goals that support achieving the project’s expected final outcome.,

 

Review of Literature Proposed Project: What are the findings in literature that supports your stated objectives?,
