The resource management plan should include the following elements:
- All the resources necessary to complete the project. The list should be complete and include all people materials supplies equipment spaces etc. needed to complete the project.,
- Time frames for the planned effort for each resource. You will note the duration of time that each resource is needed for the project.,
- Number of resources needed per day/week/month. You will use the list from element #1 and breakdown the resources and when they are needed on a daily weekly and monthly rotation.,
- Quantity of resource hours required per day/week/month. In this element you will determine the number of hours you need each resource during the project’s duration. ,
- Identify the assumptions and constraints for the resources.
The resource management plan should be in a report format and created in a Word document. The length of the plan will vary depending on how many resources you have identified in your project.
