Using a variety of instruments (Windshield Survey, Community Assessment Tool, Screening interviews, etc.) while in your community, you will assess the community location. This will lead to a list of identified, prioritized health needs and your recommendations for intervention.

 

Windshield Survey Community Assessment

You will complete a windshield survey of your community. The objective of a windshield survey is to assess a community in a short, simple way, compiling data to help form an analysis of that community. Simply put, a windshield survey is the equivalent of a community head-to-toe assessment. There are 6 elements that should be included in your windshield survey (See Community Assessment Template Download Community Assessment Template). You will drive through your community and document your findings on a PowerPoint presentation. Take pictures of your community to enhance your PowerPoint presentation.

Jealousy is not a feeling that I have experienced in the last twenty years. I felt jealous as a young woman of other women as I felt unworthy of the love of my partner. I have found peace and love within myself and no longer experience jealousy. I never had a beneficial experience due to jealousy.

The English definition of jealousy refers to the fear of losing something or someone to a rival and feelings of resentment and insecurity (Oxford Dictionary).

In Hebrew jealousy refers to intense desire or longing particularly in the context of wanting what someone else has such as possessions status or relationships. ,It can also imply a protective instinct over something or someone considered valuable (Bentorah 2019).

While both definitions involve a sense of desire and rivalry the Hebrew perspective emphasizes a broader emotional spectrum including protective elements whereas the English definition focuses more on insecurity and fear of loss. My Jealous God,
