Instructions:
You will be provided with a series of completed assessments (Assessment Data) as well as background data and observations (Write Up Info). You will choose either a child or an adult.
The rubric remains the same for either. You must write up the PAI or PAI-A and then, you may choose 3 or the remaining assessment tools to write up (ADULT – BAI, BDI, BHS, MDQ;
CHILD – BAI-Y, BDI-Y, BSCI-Y, BANI-Y, BDBI-Y). All of the instruments are scored, and you are provided with some interpretations and/information for interpreting some of the scores, but
you will need to consider this considering the client information as well. You will need to do some research on how to interpret the Beck inventories. Please also reference some of the sample
reports through Unit 13 for additional guidance as you construct your report.
In your Test Results section, make sure you discuss what each instrument is; what the instrument measures and how it measures that; report actual scores; and provide a meaningful discussion of
the scores. In addition, pay attention to specific responses and discuss those as appropriate.
You will have the following sections in your report:
- Disclaimer
- Identifying and Documenting Information
- Reason for Referral (copied)
- Background Information (copied)
- Behavioral Observations (copied), but you will add statements about reliability and
validity.
- Test Results – Include each test individually – tables and charts would go here if used –
you will have the PAI/PAI-A and 3 other tests
- Summary/Integration
- Diagnosis
- Recommendations
