Child & Youth Care Assignment

1. You are required to select a topic from the list below. Each student will pick one topic. We will open a Google Doc in advance of the assignment due date for students to select a topic.

Topic options:

1. 1. OCD in children and youth
2. After selecting a topic you will research an appropriate EBP that aligns with it. 
3. You will then select a format to share your knowledge.

– a website

– a powerpoint with voiceover

– a video presentation with visuals

1. You will answer the following in your presentation:

1. Explain the disorder or issue
2. Explain your selected EBP
3. Describe why you selected it
4. Provide a rationale for this EBP (support with literature)
5. Make connections to CYC practice including how you would implement this program or treatment

1. You MUST include an APA formatted references at the end of your selected medium (a hyperlink is NOT an APA reference). There is a template for APA formatting posted on e.centennial (or just click here). You are expected to use it. Additionally, when you paraphrase or directly copy anything from the website into your response you must quote it using in text citations.
