Typically, the last “assignment” in our e-learning courses is a project, but I think a little more attention is needed in the area of, “What do I do after I have extinguished every tool in my toolbox to help this struggling student?”
Sometimes / Oftentimes, students need more help than we can provide in the classroom. We still want to continue providing resources and additional help, but they might need a referral to the MTSS team or directly to Special Education. But, how do you know when to refer? Some of the articles below are for parents, but the information provided is good for educators as well.
